Q: What would you consider to be the best year for music so far? A: Loaded question. '77's the easy answer for any punk, but there have been some great years since then (1979, 1982, 1984, 1988, 1994, and 2001 were all up there and wouldn't be wrong). It really just depends on when you really got into punk (or music in general, I guess).

I'm partial to 2003 because it was my most formative year: I graduated high school, began to seriously delve into punk and its subgenres thanks to the Internet, and some of my favorite records of all time ("As The Eternal Cowboy," "The Greatest Story Ever Told,", "Exit English," "CVA," "Deja Entendu," "Anthem," "Revolutions Per Minute,", "Streetcore") were released that year and really helped mold me into the jaded curmudgeon I am today. -Bryne
