Thurston Moore's upcoming solo album, Benediction is set to be released on Matador records in 2011 should have Sonic Youth fans drooling with anticipation. Moore recently announced that the album was produced by Beck Hansen, who is better known by just his first name. The album was recorded at Beck's home studio in Southern California.

Not one to watch, Moore explained to the Philadelphia Weekly that Beck also jumped in to play some instruments during the recording.
