Tonight We're Going To Give It 35%

Punknews content is syndicated to virtually every social media hub on the internet, and we take pride in providing unique content and communications on each. You can find us on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Google Buzz and MySpace. Add your photos to our Flickr Pool and they'll appear in the sidebar here on Punknews. Here's your question and answer of the week from the Punknews Formspring:

Q: Does punknews really not get enough traffic/hits/clicks/clients for ad space that it doesn't make any profit? Is it just not feasible, or is it part of some punk ethos that you would make such a great website only to do it all for free? A:

We might. I'm not sure honestly.

All of us do it because we love it. most of us don't necessarily see journalism as our calling though (Brian and Bryne excluded). We are programmers and lawyers and teachers, planners and consultants and coffee folk. We all are bound together by a mutual enjoyment of music and a desire for others to get information about the music we love.

Basically: we're doin' it for the kids.*

*Fuck the kids.
