Oakland, CA-based Whirr (formerly known as Whirl) has joined the Tee Pee Records roster. The band is a fuzzier, more shoegazed side project from Nick Bassett of Deafheaven, and they'll be recording a new LP in August with a release to come sometime thereafter.
