Aceh Calling, a benefit compilation to benefit punks in Aceh, the Indonesian province that has experienced crackdowns on punk shows in recent weeks (You can find our latest coverage on the ongoing story here). The compilation, featuring more than 80 bands, is being put together by punkaid.org, and will be available as a $5 digital download, except from Movement Records in Jakarta, where it will be released as a 5 CD set. Regarding funds raised, punkaid.org's FAQ states:

'All of the money raised will be given to MOVEMENT RECORDS (Jakarta, Indonesia) to distribute to the punks in Banda Aceh who need it.'

While we have made enquiries via their contact form asking for a little more detail, we're still waiting for a response. Naturally, we'll keep you updated as and when we get more info.
