Green Day has begun announced tour dates in North America as they gear up for the some portion of the promised 3,000 dates in support of their trilogy of albums.
The albums in question are ¡Uno! due out on September 25th, 2012, ¡Dos! due on November 13th, 2012, and ¡Tré! on January 15tth, 2013. The trilogy of releases is the first new material since 2009's 21st Century Breakdown .
While they won't play New York until January 2013, the band has also been announced for a Nokia Music event at Irving Plaza on September 15th. The event is not public, but you can win tickets here.
