"The December 29th Tribute Show In Memory of Dave Karcich, at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT, has addded another to the list. The mighty Spring Heeled Jack, will play a short set, to close out the night. This was the original plan, before the idea was scrapped by Dave's 6 remaining bandmates, who felt it was too soon to play a show without him. There has now been a change of heart and the band will play their first show together since their final show in May of 2000. Dave was a former member of Spring Heeled Jack & Pilfers before joining up with Avoid One Thing. Sadly, a week before AOT's debut CD release, Dave suffered a brain aneursym and passed away on April 5th. The confirmed lineup will now consist of Beer Scouts of America, Big Mistake, Cenzo, Avoid One Thing, Lost City Angels & Spring Heeled Jack. Tickets are still on sale and are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. There will also be special merch made for the show along with a raffle featuring items donated by The Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, 2 Skinnee J's & All Boro Kings and others.
