Epitaph has announced which non-governmental agencies will receive their share of the $50,000 (US) that the label has chosen to donate. Based on thousands of internet votes, here's who's getting what:Â
Doctors Without Borders = $17,241.38 (20% of the vote)
Food Not Bombs = $17,241.38 (20% of the vote)
World Wildlife Fund = $15,517.24 (18% of the vote)
Each organization will receive a check this week written "On behalf of Epitaph and the kids." In 2003 the label will launch another Epitaph Charities Project. They are currently in the process of choosing new charities for the next round of voting.
