Rancid; The World Inferno Friendship Society

Some more live reviews comin' atcha today! Can you handle it?!!!!!!!

First up, Ricky went to see Rancid and gang and had mixed feelings about the whole thing:

Finally, Rancid makes it onto the stage. This could not have been a better performance. The set was also pretty incredible. It was as if Rancid decided to play their greatest hits and nothing else. … There was one problem that I had with the The Transplants and Rancid performances. Granted, I can't imagine how hard it is to perform for two and a half hours every night on tour, but Tim Armstrong barely played his guitar during both of his bands' performances.

Then, Yours Truly went and saw World/Inferno, and I kid you not, it was one of the best shows that I've EVER seen, but it did leave me with some heavy questions:

After a powerful build up, Terricloth drifted into the song's commanding chorus, "Why don't you rise me up?" As Terricloth continued the refrain, focusing on the coffin and making each word grow more bold, I genuinely expected Talicious to rise out of the coffin, alive and well, as a testament to the power that is the great pumpkin.
