* There will be three versions of the "normal" CD. The vast majority will be the black-red cover that is on the front page of the site. In addition, there will be a black-silver version and a black-black version for the first run, and these will be very rare. Black on black will be the most rare. All three colors will be released March 11th.
* There will be a "special" version of the album that will come in the form of a book; it will be hardcover, bound, with 60 pages of notes, lyrics, drawings, pictures, and the like. It will include a CD with the album and a DVD with "Clandestine," the AFI short film (!!!) and five songs (some from the album, some not) mixed into surround-sound (5.1) format for playing on your home theater. This will be limited and will only be available in the USA, at least to start. This will be released April 1st.
* There will be a vinyl version. It will be a double-12-inch and will have the same liner notes as the normal CD version, but they will of course be in a much larger format. This will be released through Adeline records and distributed through Mordam (not Universal, like the CD version) and will be limited to a single run of 10,000 copies. This will be released March 18th.
* Currently there will be one "international" version for Europe (not just the UK). It will contain two extra tracks, a fully re-recorded "Now the World" (redone during the STS sessions) and the previously unannounced "Synesthesia," also from the STS sessions. This will be the main version available in Europe and will not be limited or markedly different from the main US version. It will be black-red. This will be released March 10th.
