The current owners of the CBGB's name have announced plans to re-launch the icononic venue… as an airport restaurant. The restaurant will be in Newark airport and feature things such as $9 deviled eggs and a $14 cheeseburger. The establishment will be called CBGB L.A.B (Lounge and Bar). The current owner of the CBGB name appears to be a holding company. There is no word on whether the new company will keep the bathroom authentic as to the original venue.
