"Fuel the Fire is rising from the ashes of PA punk band Teddy Duchamp's Army of Pittsburgh. In early 2003 after signing to Eyeball Records, The Army came to a sudden hault. TDA members and main songwriters Mike Rock(guitar), Steve McMillen(guitar) and Jake Reinhart(bass) felt the new music was their best yet and there was a lot more to be made. They have continued on as Fuel the Fire. With Eyeball Records still 100% behind the band, the guys plan on recording and releasing a record this year on the label. There are plans for a full U.S. and European tour in the works. The band is influenced by the D.C. sound of Jawbox and Gray Matter mixed with the sounds of bands like Strike Anywhere, Hot Water Music, Lifetime and Jawbreaker. If you're not familiar with Teddy Duchamps Army, you can check out some of their demo mp3's from the record that was to be released on Eyeball here."
