Houston's D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) has announced their intent to release an EP in 2016. This release will be the band's first since Full Speed Ahead in 1995. Concerning the album's sound, singer Kurt Brecht had this to say on returning to the band's punk rock roots:

It's more old school hardcore. It's straightforward, without the metal guitar sound […] I'm more into the hardcore myself, but it's okay if we keep the metal because we mix it all together.
