Ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante has announced the release of his latest EP, Foregrow, through electronic label Acid Test/Absurd Recordings on April 16th (Record Store Day). Having taken a decidedly electronic turn in his solo career, reportedly Foregrow was influenced by "'the drum programming DNA of jungle and footwork' and the work of legendary horror film director and composer John Carpenter."
