The band is from Lansing, Michigan and that area bears its marks on "Turning Away." A mix of midwestern punk, emo, and college rock, the song has a tender core wrapped in a barbed exterior. These guys might be dealing with revealing topics, but they're not scared to sneak in an abrasive jolt here or there.
