Joe Corré to burn £5 million in punk memorabilia
by

Joe Corré, son of famed Sex Pistols's manager Malcolm McLaren and English fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, has stated that he will be burning an estimated £5 million worth of punk memorobilia from his inherited personal collection in protest of the Queen's support of the 'Punk London' movement. See below to see what Corré had to say about the burning in a recent press release, which is scheduled to take place in London on November 26th, the 40th anniversary of the release of Sex Pistols's Anarchy in the U.K.

The Queen giving 2016, the Year of Punk, her official blessing is the most frightening thing I’ve ever heard. Talk about alternative and punk culture being appropriated by the mainstream. Rather than a movement for change, punk has become like a fucking museum piece or a tribute act. - Joe Corré
