"Dan Coutant, formerly of the late indie rock band Joshua(Who broke up earlier this year) has begun work on new record with a new band. The band at this point is a trio featuring Dan on guitar and vocals, Mike Harbin who was formerly in the mighty Burning Airlines on bass guitar and a really great drummer named Scott who used to play in a pop rock band from Jersey called CRAB. Tentatively the band is called Fireworks Go Up, and they are working endlessly with producer John Agnello on 10 new songs that will become their debut full length release sometime at summers end on a label yet to be decided on. The band will be entering Water Music and Headgear recording studios in Mid July for 3 weeks The record will also be featuring some big guest appearances that have yet to be named.

Also, the other 3 quarters of Joshua, otherwise known as the mighty Park Ranger, have completed a new 6 song EP and are making their live performance debut at CLUB CRANNELL STREET in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 1st.
