Earlier this month, Gene Simmons of Kiss filed a trademark application seeking registration of the "devil horns" hand gesture. Well, it was a short ride. Earlier this week, Simmons filed a notice that he was abandoning the application. Simmons did not state why he suddenly decided to withdraw the application.
