The surviving members of Carnivore have reformed as Carnivore AD. Originally, Carnivore was the hardcore/crossover band that featured Peter Steele who would go on to form Type O Negative. Steele reunited the band a few times after they broke up in 1987, but passed away in 2010. Earlier this year, surviving members Marc Piovanetti and Lou Beato reformed Carnivore for the Black N Blue Bowl fest. Just recently, the pair announced that they will be continuing as Carnivore AD. The band now includes Marc Piovanetti, Lou Beato, Joe Branciforte, and Baron Misuraca on bass and lead vocals. The band's next show will be "A Halloween SteeleTacular," at Bowery Electric in New York City on Halloween night.
