In an Instagram post this morning, Signals Midwest have announced that their founding bass player and designer of their signature biplane logo, Lauren Shumaker, will be playing his last show with the band tonight. The show is at Mahall's in Lakewood, Ohio. In the post, the band stated, "I can unequivocally state that Signals Midwest would absolutely not be what it is without Loren. He is a deep thinker, a dedicated talent and a true friend. We love him always and are excited to see what's next. - Max, Steve & Jeff." The band began in Loren’s home nearly a decade ago and their most recent album was At This Age in 2016.
