Alice Bag has released the music video for her new song, “77.” Giving homage to Dolly Parton’s feminist movie, “9-5,” a trio of punk icons, Bag, Kathleen Hannah (Bikini Kill), and Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile) scream and holler about unfair wages They fight against their bosses, Hunx and His Punx’s Seth Bogart and Garbage’s Shirley Manson, with lines such as, “I make 77 cents on the dollar. It’s not fair and it makes wanna holler” and “don’t pretend we’re paid equal. You wrote the script, but I’m writing the sequel.” Check the video out below.
