us about the new Skate4Cancer effort. Click below for the full email, but here's an snip:

"Skate4Cancer is an organization created by five, young men from Newmarket, Ontario who all share this dream. Rob Dyer, one of the young men, is hoping to skate across the United States from Los Angeles to Toronto, Canada in hopes that this gigantic event will create exactly the kind of awareness the battle against cancer needs. That is over 9,500 KM! The other four, young men will travel beside him in a bus, offering their support and whatever else Rob needs. While this may seem like a ridiculous idea, it can become reality if there is the will and support. I promise you, there is the will, now all we need is the support."

To Whom It May Concern,

Unfortunately, almost all of us have experienced the tragic scenario of a loved one being diagnosed with cancer. Too many lives are lost every year due to cancer. Although there are many charities raising money and awareness for the fight against cancer, hoping scientists will someday find a cure, there simply is not enough funding to find a cure as fast as we all want to. Skate4Cancer hopes to create the funding and awareness that will make the dream of a cure for cancer, reality. With your help, we truly can make this world a better place.
