Interview magazine shuts down
by

Interview Magazine, which was founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, has ceased operations. Interview was famous for featuring artists interviewing other artists, and the discussions usually included topics not found in more traditional interviews. The magazine has started and stopped over the years, having been relaunched in 1990 and then again in 2008 with the backing of billionaire Peter Brant. Recently, the magazine faced several legal issues, including former editorial director Fabien Baron suing the magazine for $600,000 in back due payments.
