Some Records has announced the signing of Salt Lake City's The New Transit Direction. The band is driving to Shed Studios in Manhattan next week to record their debut LP, already entitled Wonderful Defense Mechanisms, with John Congleton (90 Day Men, The Paper Chase) producing. The album will be released early 2004.
