In a recent Facebook post, Los Angeles punk band Gentlemen Prefer Blood have announced that they have decided to break up. The trio will be playing three final shows in Southern California in late September and October. They last released Live at KXLU in 2018 and they have plans to release a new EP titled Weathered in the near future. You can read the announcement and see the list of tour dates below.

The time has come folks. It's good bye.

GPB is going to be playing our final shows in the coming weeks. We really don’t want to make a big deal because we’re not a big deal, but we will say we had some of the greatest moments of our lives thanks to anyone who came to watch us. We did more than we ever thought we could’ve done just by playing music. The people we met, the places we’ve been and things we’ve done are all a result of just writing a song. Amazing. Speaking of which, we are going to be releasing our final EP, Weathered, on all streaming services soon.

We’ll continue to announce GPB-member-related news via social media so stay tuned!

Again, thank you everyone who made this so much fun.

Hugs and kisses,

Jason, Mike and Todd
