One of Philadelphia's most famous skateparks is the hallowed FDR skatepark. On June 8, there's going to be an art show/festival to raise funds to maintaain and improve the park. Voodoo Death Cult, Atomic Cretins, Septa, Dusk Seeker, Shred Crust, Body Spray, Lil Bambinos, and Queen Vice all play. Meanwhile, artists will be showing off some of the work and there will be skateboarding a-plenty. The event is organzied by Lauren McFadden of Trash Knife and you can get more details here.
