Unfortunately, Janet Weiss, formerly of Sleater-Kinney was in a car accident last weekend. She suffered a broken right leg and left collar bone. Her recovery time will be about twelve weeks, so she also had to cancel the upcoming tour with her band Quasi. She stated, in part: "As thoroughly bummed as I am about canceling the shows, I’m also incredibly thankful the accident wasn't worse and so happy to be alive[…] I am lucky my injuries will heal and I’ll be back at it in a couple months.” See her full statement below.
