A new New Bomb Turks CD / LP is out on October 7th via Gearhead Records. The record is titled Switchblade Tongues, Butterknife Brains and contains material the band had recorded but never released. Included here is material from several unreleased EPs (one recorded in 2000 for Epitaph, and one recorded in 2001 for the now defunct Glazed). Also included are covers of Aerosmith's "Chip Away The Stone" and Devil Dog's "Radio Beat" and "Death Of Mighty Joe." Some b-side material from last year's The Night Before The Day The Earth Stood Still are also included. The record was mastered by John Golden and includes a 5 minute trailer for an upcoming New Bomb Turks DVD that will be released in early 2004.
