"Jade Tree has recently signed the band Challenger, which features members of Milemarker. They have just finished recording a full length with ten songs on it that is scheduled to come out in early 2004. the Jade Tree site describes them as "Reminiscent of the abrasive and pummeling energy of bands such as Husker Du and Sonic Youth, CHALLENGER songs are non-stop, scratchy, fuzzed out affairs of speed driven post-punk." They start a one month tour in October."
