Since forming in Seattle in 1995, they have been steadily recording and have released 2 EPs, a seven inch, and 1998's critically acclaimed It's Hard to Find a Friend LP with their previous label Made in Mexico. They've also toured the USA twice, once with Damien Jurado and once with Jets to Brazil. Pedro's nucleus, singer/songwriter David Bazan, is currently back in the studio working on the new album, which is exclusively a solo affair. David is playing all the instruments, recording, and producing the album himself in his home studio.
