"The Turkey Shoot Music Video Festival is back for it's second year at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The festival takes place Monday December 1 at 8 p.m. 6712 Hollywood Blvd."

Director Nathan "Karma" Cox has been announced as this year's guest speaker. His credits include, System of a Down, Boxcar Racer, Chevelle, and Linkin Park. After the intermission we'll screen 3 of his recent videos followed by a Q/A.
This year's line up boasts an electic mix of the best indie music videos. Salvo Beta/Melt Banana, Reggie and the Full Effect, Diverse, Bright Eyes, The Color Turning, Mogwai, J. Metzer & Bryan Keith, The Pattern, Phantomsmasher, Ugly Cassanova, Thirsty Merc, Postal Service, The Heavenly States, Machine Translations, Action Figure Party, Squirtgun, Stephen Malkamus and the Jicks, Brian Meece, Maktub, EL-P, Jadu, and The Oranges Band.
The Turkey Shoot held a directing competition this year called Shoot 'em Up! where new directors competed for the chance to direct a video for Lookout! Records artist, The Oranges Band. All the details have been posted on the festival's website - video clip, behind the scenes, treatment, photos, credits, and written account of the whole thing.
Tickets for the festival are now available through the site. There are no service charges or tax.
