The Punkbands.com newsletter reports this- *NITRO RECORDS reports that their "newest" band, SON OF SAM, will release a new record next spring. Son Of Sam is a band made up of Davey Havok (AFI) on vocals, London May (Tiger Army, Samhain) on drums, Todd Youth (Danzig) on guitar, and Steve Zing (Samhain) on bass. The new record will also feature performances by all members of Danzig, including Glenn. Holy moly. Or shall I say unholy moly. This is quite a horrifying union of evil forces. AFI, Tiger Army, Samhain, and Danzig are all bands that are very near and dear to my heart. And Glenn Danzig working with Davey Havok?? It's almost too good to be true. I cannot wait to hear these guys! I will be holding an interview with Davey from AFI next Saturday in Toronto, and I will surely ask him about this new group.
