BYO Records has announced the singing of Seattle's The Briefs. The band will enter the studio in late February to record a new album that should be out in May. The band is playing a handful dates coming up with the New Town Animals, TSOL and later Youth Brigade.

Speaking of the brothers Stern, Youth Brigade has a pair of shows scheduled for February. On the 2/20 they'll play at Slims in San Francisco with Street Dogs, The Briefs and Jackass. The following day they're playing West Hollywood's Troubadour with Street Dogs, The Briefs and Angel City Outcasts.
