Well, last night, Chretien was elected. I voted, and at least I'm happy that nothing much has changed for the worse, never mind that it's not likely to get drastically better either. Stockwell is still the official opposition, so we're still going to be hearing from the Canadian Alliance for awhile now. I was hoping for a stronger showing by Joe Clark's Tories, as Clark is, if nothing else, a respectable individual, unlike the mud-flinging that personified Day's campaign. Ah well, enough about elections…
