On April 9th, Acutest Records is releasing a DVD entitled The Michigan Independent. The Michigan Independent is the debut documentary by Michigan indie veteran Michelle Lukezic. The film contains live footage and interviews with over 30 indie projects, ranging from musicians and record labels to writers and promoters. Among those included are Small Brown Bike, Fordirelifesake, Capture The Flag, Rescue, Kid Brother Collective, Ettison Cleo, Thunderbirds Are Now!, The Chiodos Bros, and Charlevoix.
