Revelation Records has announced their newest signing - Milwaukee's Call Me Lightning. The band, featuring past/current members of Akarso, Haymarket Riot, Managra, Tintoretto, and Hero Of 100 Fights [most of which are courtesy of drummer Shane Hochstetler] is described as "the best of Jesus Lizard, early Rye Coalition, Gang of Four and Talking Heads all wrapped up in one frenetic package." They're heading into Key Club Recording in Benton Harbor, MI with Shellac live sound engineer Bill Skibbe and will be wrapping up the session with Pat Lilley at Nexus Recording Studio in Waukesha, WI.
