Sparta playing Lollapalooza, touring with Engine Down and All State Champion

Sparta has announced that they've joined the lineup for this summer's now-festival-format Lollapalooza. They'll be playing the first day on July 17th along with Morrissey, Sonic Youth, Le Tigre, Modest Mouse, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Von Bondies, Broken Social Scene, The Walkmen and more.

The band is set to hit the road in May to support their sophomore full length Porcelain, due in June or July from Dreamworks. They'll spend three weeks on the road in the US and Canada with Engine Down and All State Champion. The tour begins on May 21 in Las Vegas and wraps up on June 13 in Sacramento, California.
