Matchbook Romance and Motion City Soundtrack will be releasing a split 7" / CD EP later this year. Matchbook Romance just finished recording acoustic songs and a new unreleased track for it. Derek Hess will be contributing artwork to the project. No word on when it will be out yet. This isn't the only split release Motion City Soundtrack is involved in, as they have a split 7" with Limbeck on the way as well.

Matchbook Romance was recently in Los Angeles to be in a new movie titled Frostbite (20th Century Fox/Fox Searchlight PIctures). According to Epitaph they play a "bar band with a comical twist to them." That movie is expected in theaters in November.
