Georgia band Showbread has announced their signing to Solid State Records. Here's a statement from their webpage:

"Showbread has just signed with solid state records. we will be on our way to california monday to begin recording an album to be released on the label this fall. we're recording the record with Sylvia Massey Shivy, who has done albums with Danzig, Tool, Johnny Cash, System of a down, and many others… especially GREEN JELLY."

The band has one show lined up this summer, as a part of the Cornerstone Festival.
