Today is an exciting day for Punknews.org - the first tour we've ever sponsored, affectionately titled the Punknews.org Tour, begins tonight! Somerset, The Dog And Everything, Before I Go and Straight Outta Junior High will be criss-crossing the Midwest for the next two weeks, bringing the rock to you like only they know how. We've been updating the official tour page every day with times, prices, extra bands and links to purchase advance tickets where available. Advance tickets are currently on sale for the Cleveland, Detroit, La Crosse, Minneapolis and Chicago dates - remember, we strongly recommend buying a ticket in advance, as those who do [and hang onto the ticket stub] will be greatly rewarded for supporting the website. If you haven't checked out the tour page yet, give it a look - band bios, MP3s, printable fliers, banner ads and more are all available for your perusal. We also hope to receive some journal entries from the bands while they're on the road, so keep your eyes peeled! All shows are all-ages, so if there's one in your neighborhood, please attend - I promise you'll have a great time!

This is really just the beginning for the 'Org - there's many things in store in the coming months, especially if this tour does well. If you support us on endeavors like this, you can be assured that you will be supported in return. I truly believe that we have one of the most dynamic, unique communities established on the whole Internet, and through that we want to continually give back to everyone who helped build us into what we are today. So please, if you're looking for a good time, check out the Punknews.org Tour - you won't be disappointed.
