Rochester's Total Yuppies pack in diverse songs that are invigorating and thought provoking. Their new EP entitled Care is sure to make you sing along whilst realizing you may connect with this band more than you think.

"Move The Rug" picks up right where Total Yuppies left off on their last EP, Pleasantries. the song kicks in with typical Yuppies fashion with guitar licks and great tone. The songs are a bit longer this time allowing the band to expand and explore their territory. “Ever Ever” has an interesting intro that follows through the song. The riff sounds like its chunked together but after further listen, the song becomes less eerie and starts to make sense.

"Nothing" is definitely influenced by Weezer's "The Sweater Song" and while the nod is an obvious one, it doesn't take away from the vibe of the originality of the song. Jacob Walsh's vocal melody and delivery are stunning as he fumbles through the lyrics, "what's on the docket for today? Nothing, again." It's a subtle lyric that's bound to give you Goosebumps especially if you are in fact doing nothing.
