Ryan George out of The Adored

So we're horribly late with this news but it still bears mentioning. Los Angeles pop punk act The Adored have parted ways with vocalist Ryan George. The band, now a three piece, will continue on and promises new music this summer. The remaining members of the Adored have recently been backing Giant Drag's Annie Hardy.

Ryan George was formerly a member of hardcore act Carry On. The Adored most recently released A New Language in 2006 but were left without a label after V2 imploded.

Saw these guys with the Buzzcocks and loved them, Ryan is a nice guy. Wish him the best.

I think I've seen this band a ton on Myspace before or maybe I'm confusing them with someone else. Myspaced 'em and really dig their shit. Very solid powerpop!

I forgot about The Adored. I love the band. Ryan was great, but hopefully they wont lose anything they had that makes them special. The last time a band I liked lost their vocalist I lost all track of the band, and then they got a new singer and I still haven't checked them out again (Go Betty Go).
