These are all really bad. I've heard two of them and decided that not even the illegal download was worth keeping. 1+ Reply

Who actually thought these would be a good idea? 1+ Reply

I haven't been this excited about a new album since Punk Goes Crunk came out! 1+ Reply

the first punk goes acoustic wasn't so bad. i mean, the strike anywhere and strung out songs were good, and about half of it was passable. but i won't defend from autumn to ashes, etc.

Really surprised Rise Against is on this. They're a legit band now, with fans and thousands in sales. 1+ Reply

I'd just some kind of jokey "Punk Goes..." thing, but it's gotten to the point where I'm afraid that it would actually become a reality. 2+ Replies

Punk Goes Metal had a few decent songs on it. Especially Strung Out's cover of Bark at the Moon. 2+ Replies

This just sparked an idea...Who'd like a "Pop goes punk" album. You can have Miley Cyrus covering Dead Kennedys, T-pain doing some Bad Brains, maybe that David Cook dude doing Circle Jerks. 8+ Replies

I actually feel embarrassed for everyone involved in this kinda like I feel embarassed for a retarded person singing in public. 1+ Reply

Holy fucking shitballs, The Riot Before is amazing. Can't believe I had never heard of these guys before last night. After just two listens, I can confidently say that "Fists" is the 5th-best album of the year after Gaslight, D4, Loved Ones and LaGrecia. 5+ Replies

They seem to use the same bands on every compilation, why not call it "We can't get different bands to do our comps 2"? Oh, and um, Gym Class Heroes. Pretty sure that's called hip hop. And someone put Relient K out of their misery. And fuck me, I just finished 1 of my last 3 finals EVER. Now I just need money for beer and I will at least be satisfied for an hour. 2+ Replies

How about High School the Musical goes punk? I heard Howard Stern might be working on a remake of Rock & Roll High School, so why not make it a broadway musical? I don't know about you guys, but I remember high school having a lot more drugs and sex and a lot less choreographed dancing in gym shorts. 2+ Replies

why even call it punk goes... when there aren't any punk bands on it anymore. brett stopped punk-o-rama for that reason. 2+ Replies

Bad bands covering poorly-written songs.

I enjoyed the before you were punk comps, but so many of these bands on these punk goes comps have nothing to do with punk.

does anyone care about Fearless record? Seems all they do are these corny themed releases. | Features
