They're pretty good for their genre (whatever it is). Miles and miles ahead of bands like Escape The Fate or Confide or From First To Last.

my only experience with them was opening up for Planes and HWM, which isn't bad company to be in. they weren't awful. not great either.

It seats 5, the only problem is the battery sucks, but its not like I couldnt replace it before Fest.

But I did get the impression that Tomas is a bit of a control freak from Josh (their bass player). It wasn't negative, very jokingly and such. But he did mention how he checks the bands website to find updates on his band...

Well, I'll admit it was the Ska songs that got me into them. I still think "All Outta Angst" has one of the catchiest little horn lines. But my favorite song is "Party Enema."

That's why every band needs a control freak like Tomas Kalonky. Who, I'm convinced, left Catch-22 for the sole purpose of getting his graphic art degree just so he could make album art and t-shirt designs to further control more aspects of the band.

I actually had a long discussion about tattoos on the drive back from Dallas. I want to get a checkerboard band around my arm.

But my arm size can grow from muscle or fat overtime so it might not look good later in the future. My friend suggested getting checkerboard in the shape of something, but I couldn't think what.

Yeah, but personally, I feel that when bands have a huge crowd yelling "YAY!!!!" is super gay and cheesy... not that that is bad, it's just funny that I can't take that song seriously

Oh I know what the truth was. It's that she saw her shitty "friends" who are actually a distant exboyfriend's friends since she has none of her own. And they told her how to think and she fell for it. I called her out on it several times and she didn't deny it. OWTH should make a shirt that says that.
