As previously reported Propagandhi will enter the studio this November to record a new full length for a spring 2005 release. Here's an update from the latest G7 Welcoming Committee news letter:

After four years away from the studio, PROPAGANDHI are finally confirmed to begin recording the follow-up to 2001's "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes". The will enter Vancouver's Warehouse Studio (owned by neighbour-waker Bryan Adams) November 8th. Demos of some of the new album's material have elicited responses ranging from "this is absolutely fucking ripping" to "if you were to appoint me the advisor of your band, I would DELETE that one."

Incidentally, vocalist Chris Hannah will be the first to take to the mic after Columbian diva Shakira, who is currently in the same studio recording some new shitty album, and apparently drinking lots of Pepsi. Sources say he plans on spending some "quality, private time" alone with the mic before beginning the sessions.
