Recent Hellcat signees the Unseen are currently in the studio with Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys recording their Hellcat debut and the followup to 2003's BYO-released Explode. Rancid's Lars Frederiksen stopped by this past week to lend some guest vocals as well.

About 10 years ago me and Tripp (Unseens bassist) saw Rancid play at a small gig in Boston. This was before "Let's Go" came out. At that show I gave Lars a shitty video tape demo of The Unseen. I never would have thought a decade later Lars would sing on a Unseen song.
