SideOneDummy has signed Richmond, Virginia based synth-punk act VCR. From their press release:

We'd like to welcome VCR, our newest band, to the SideOne roster! Coined an "adventure funcore band," they offer just the right mix of electronic, rock and punk music. Indeed, anyone who has witnessed/survived the jaw-dropping, eardrum-liquefying spectacle that is a VCR gig will quickly attest that this is no band of knob-twiddling automatons posing rigid and expressionless behind mysteriously flickering keyboard banks. On the contrary, a VCR show is a truly extraordinary, totally deranged and paint-peelingly loud event ."

The band will have an EP in stores on April 12th. In the meantime you can check out the song "King And Queen Of Winter."
