Alkaline Trio is putting the final touches on their upcoming record for Vagrant. On their recently updated temporary website, they provided this:

We spent all of December and January locked in a studio with producer Jerry Finn, working around the clock on the (as yet untitled) new album. Vagrant Records is set to release the album in may. check out the recording journal on the message board for some exclusive video footage (available for a limited time). and check back here for updates on the album!

Wes Craven's new film "Cursed" features a version of "fine without you" remixed by Carmen Rizzo. The soundtrack is out now.

The bands' first show of 2005 has been announced! they will be performing at the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park. Expect more dates soon.

The band kept track of the progress with a recording journal and posted videos of the process. The upcoming record will be their newest since their contribution to BYO Split Series V and their first full length since 2003's Good Mourning.
