by A-F Break-ups

Pipedown has called it quits. The Sacramento, California-based punk act sent us the following statement by way of their label, A-F Records:

After eight years and accomplishing a hell of a lot more than what we expected, it's a good time to end it and move on to new things. There is a chance that we might play a last show in August. Also before our decision to break up, we recorded two new songs that will eventually be available online.

So what's next? Ean's playing guitar with Dance with Destruction, which you'll see playing soon. Jaycen finished recording an EP with Angoramachinegun and they're playing around Sacramento right now. Jack's moving to NYC and I'm moving to LA. Thanks everybody for everything.

The band released Enemies Of Progress and Mental Weaponry via A-F Records.
