Much of the lineup for the upcoming MTVu "Woodie" Awards has been announced. The first-ever live "Woodies" music event and ceremony will play host to Death Cab for Cutie, Coheed & Cambria,mewithoutYou, and The Go! Team as well as Aesop Rock, RZA, Matisyahu, Little Brother, and Saul Williams.

The award show will take place November 2nd at Roseland Ballroom in New York City and will premiere on mtvU on November 10th.

To date, more than a million votes have been cast; nominees include Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Arcade Fire for Woodie of the Year. In other categories: Motion City Soundtrack and the Decemberists in the Breaking category, mewithoutYou in the Left Field category, Death Cab for Cutie and My Chemical Romance for Live Action Video, Rilo Kiley and Arcade Fire for Animated Video, Fall Out Boy for Road, Green Day for Alumni, Bloc Party for International and Hawthorne Heights for Streaming.

Votes can be cast here, with the polls closing later today.

The first annual awards, held in 2004, included big winners, Modest Mouse and Coheed & Cambria each walking away with two nods. Modest Mouse was recognized with the "Woodie of the Year" award for Best Artist, and the "Silent But Deadly Woodie" for Best Music Video honoring their single "Float On." Coheed & Cambria won "Soundtrack of My Life Woodie" honors for Best Album with their release "In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3," and the "Road Woodie" for Best Live Performance. Other winners included N.E.R.D., Taking Back Sunday, Sum 41, Incubus, as well as The Killers and Fall Out Boy who both won honors at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
